GATE CONTROLLER

Role Overview

Gate Controller at Napco National. This position is based on-site and involves managing entrance security, monitoring surveillance systems, and maintaining a safe and secure facility environment.

Role Purpose

To enforce company health, safety, security, and environmental policies; monitor property access and surveillance equipment; respond to emergencies; and safeguard company assets and personnel at the facility gates.

Key Responsibilities

Security & Access Control

• Enforce company regulations and policies regarding Health, Security, Safety and Environment.
• Monitor property entrance and electronic surveillance equipment used at the premises to ensure their proper functioning and premises are secured.
• Full compliance with NAPCO security procedure by following all security guidelines and filling all required security forms.
• Safeguard and secure company assets from deterioration, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access.
• Coordinate with plant management to manage security-related exceptions and ensure efficient secured premises.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Assist NAPCO management in achieving a safe and secure environment by ensuring 100% implementation of NAPCO HSSE Procedures.
• Follow and implement all security directions from HSSE department management.
• Inform and coordinate with the safety team regarding safety issues to ensure the application of safety measures and report non-compliance.
• Maintain the implementation of the 5S program in all security guard houses without prior notice.

Emergency Response & Incident Management

• Immediately report any safety or security concern to their direct supervisor.
• Immediately respond to any emergency that occurs and play the required roles by reacting in a timely manner.
• Contain and manage problematic or unusual situations caused by employees, contractors, or visitors, and escalate if needed.

Visitor & Personnel Support

• Provide assistance to people with special needs at the gates.

Operational Vigilance

• On duty, ensure 100% vigilance and presence at the assigned security post.
