Role Purpose

Create memorable dining experiences by delivering warm, friendly, and efficient service across Food & Beverage outlets while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and operational excellence in line with IHG brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Deliver warm, friendly, and personalized service aligned with Holiday Inn and IHG brand standards.
• Welcome guests, take food and beverage orders accurately, and ensure timely and efficient service.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and handle guest feedback professionally.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, beverages, and promotions to assist guests and maximize upselling opportunities.

Operations & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and readiness of the restaurant, bar, and service areas throughout the shift.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or incidents promptly.
• Ensure the proper handling, storage, and care of food, beverages, equipment, and hotel assets.

Compliance & Safety

• Comply with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Support sustainability initiatives by minimizing waste and using hotel resources responsibly.

Team & Performance

• Contribute to achieving departmental goals through teamwork and product knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2–4 years restaurant experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting.
• Hospitality diploma or degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local and government authorities.
• Excellent knowledge of à la carte menus, wine and beverage lists, and current and emerging food trends.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United Arab Emirates.

• Contract type: Full-time position with rotating 6-day roster including overnight, weekend, and public holiday shifts.
