Food & Beverage Agent - Club InterContinental at InterContinental® Hotel Dubai Festival City, operated by IHG Hotels and Resorts.

Role Purpose
Deliver exceptional food and beverage service to Club InterContinental guests while serving as a trusted hospitality ambassador. Anticipate guest needs, manage requests and concerns, and maintain the highest standards of service consistent with the InterContinental brand.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Serve all guests in accordance with company standards.
- Demonstrate the highest standard of hospitality at all times.
- Take pride in your appearance and presentation as a brand ambassador.
Guest Experience Management
- Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests.
- Stay one step ahead of guests' needs by recording and acting on their preferences.
- Handle guest messages, requests, questions and concerns promptly.
- Assist guests with all matters, from bill issues to local knowledge.
- Be a trusted contact for guests seeking help or guidance.
Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate any difficulties with your superior.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues.
- Loop in management when necessary to resolve guest concerns.
Operational Excellence
- Always know what events and activities are on the day's schedule.
- Jump into other ad-hoc duties when colleagues need assistance.
Safety & Compliance
- Stay safe at all times by following all safety procedures.
- Report all incidents.
- Wear any protective gear needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum two years of experience in a front desk or guest service position in a 5-star property.
- College or university degree is a bonus, but not essential.
Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in English language; extra language skills are valuable.
- Strong communication skills with guests and colleagues.
- Literate and tech-savvy with good grasp of reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
- Experience with reservations systems, specifically Opera.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
