Role Overview

Fitter at Al Ghurair.

Role Purpose

Fabricate, assemble, cut, and install aluminum panels according to detailed drawings and project specifications, maintaining strict quality control and safety standards while supervising junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Fabricate, assemble, cut, fix and install aluminum panels according to detailed drawings and specifications required by the project.
• Operate tools and machines including Plasma, CNC, and Water jet equipment.
• Check and control the quality and accuracy of finished panels and products.
• Identify, reassemble, and replace faulty and defective parts.
• Ensure cutting accuracy and material utilization optimization.
• Maintain production efficiency and timeliness.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and downtime.
• Manage cost control during fabrication processes.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all applicable HSE rules and regulations implemented in the organization.
• Strictly follow all safety protocols.
• Always use required PPE for the job.
• Communicate workplace hazards with direct supervisors.
• Remain aware of emergency preparedness and emergency procedures.

Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise Assistant Fitters and Helpers in the factory.
• Work in any shifts as required.
• Accept assignment to other departments as and when required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Secondary School Certificate.
• Apprenticeship in similar industry.
• Minimum 3 years experience in fitting trade.

Skills & Competencies

• Handling tools.
• Operating machines.
