Financial Analyst

Role Overview

Financial Analyst at Alghanim Industries. The role is based within the finance team and focuses on providing clear, accurate, and insightful business and financial analysis.

Role Purpose

Deliver comprehensive financial and business analysis to support decision-making, contribute to business planning, and execute specialist ad hoc reporting projects as an integral member of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Analysis & Reporting

• Build understanding of the value drivers of the business.
• Create analytics around key performance indicators to facilitate qualitative reporting.
• Provide clear analysis for incorporation within monthly reports designed to allow management to understand key continuing and developing trends.

Analytics Coverage

• Analyze business performance, balance scorecards, and business development opportunities.
• Conduct budgets and forecasts analysis.
• Perform market and revenue analysis.
• Evaluate promotions and pricing.
• Support capital expenditure approvals.
• Analyze cash flow and working capital.
• Conduct cost level analysis.
• Assess customer profitability.

Planning & Stakeholder Management

• Provide support in business planning and forecasting processes.
• Liaise with business managers in areas of expertise and develop trusted partner status through high quality support and decision-aiding analysis through confident and clear communication.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills; capable of identifying and interpreting key business drivers.
• Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience with ERP systems is desirable.
• Self-starter able to work across functions and in teams.
• Results-driven with ability to perform on unstructured assignments.
• Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
