Role Overview

Financial Analyst at Alghanim Industries. This role forms an integral part of the finance team based at the company.

Role Purpose

Deliver clear, accurate, and insightful business and financial analysis to support management decision-making. Contribute to business planning and execute project work and specialist ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Insights

• Build an understanding of the value drivers of the business
• Create analytics around key performance indicators to facilitate qualitative reporting
• Analyze business performance
• Evaluate balance scorecard metrics
• Identify business development opportunities
• Analyze budgets and forecasts
• Conduct market and revenue analysis
• Examine promotions and pricing
• Support capital expenditure approvals
• Monitor cash flow and working capital
• Perform cost level analysis
• Assess customer profitability

Reporting & Trends

• Provide clear analysis for incorporation within monthly reports
• Enable management to understand key continuing and developing trends

Planning & Forecasting

• Provide support in the business planning and forecasting processes

Stakeholder Engagement

• Liaise with business managers in areas of expertise
• Develop trusted partner status through confident and clear communication
• Deliver high quality support and decision-aiding analysis

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification: CA, CPA, CMA, MBA, or equivalent
• 1–3 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills; ability to identify and interpret key business drivers
• Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts
• Previous experience with ERP systems is desirable
• Self-starter, able to work across functions and in teams
• Results-driven with ability to perform on unstructured assignments
• Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
