Finance Trainee Emiratization in Luxury Homeware with Chalhoub Group, based within Tanagra's Finance team.

Role Purpose
This 6-month contract traineeship provides hands-on exposure to core finance operations while supporting key reporting, data consolidation, and month-end closing activities in a fast-paced retail environment. The objective is to provide valuable experience and identify and develop long-term talent that could potentially become part of the team after the trainee program.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close & Reporting
- Support the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and data validation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and consolidated data trackers.
- Support financial monitoring and reporting activities using Excel and PowerPoint.
Data & Operations Management
- Help organize and maintain accurate financial data with strong attention to detail.
- Assist the team with day-to-day finance coordination and ad-hoc reporting tasks.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to ongoing finance initiatives and process improvements where needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle data accurately.
- Well-organized with the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn within a team environment.
