Field Specialist - Drilling Services at Baker Hughes. This is a shift-based position supervising drilling operations across India in various drilling environments.

Baker Hughes' Oilfield Services Team assembles and tests the latest oilfield equipment products. The team collaborates with development teams in science, mechanical and electrical engineering, physics, and geoscience to develop innovative drilling tools.

Role Purpose

Supervise drilling of oil and gas wells across India in different drilling environments while developing and demonstrating proficiency in Directional Systems services delivery at well sites.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations & Technical Delivery

• Develop and demonstrate proficiency in the skill profile required for delivery of assigned Directional Systems services at the well site.
• Supervise drilling of oil and gas wells across India in different drilling environments.
• Complete successful advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.

Compliance & Professional Standards

• Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
• Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 years of experience in Directional Drilling.
• Petroleum or Mechanical engineering graduate.
• Industry experience and product-line training required.
• Basic knowledge of MWD.

• Good mechanical aptitude.
