Role Purpose

Provide drilling optimization support and technical resolution to complex operational problems at well sites by analyzing data and leveraging broad knowledge of the product line's operations and services. Act as a liaison between local and global teams to drive technology development and the integration of innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Drilling Optimization Support

• Deliver drilling optimization support to Baker Hughes Drilling Services operations.
• Support innovative digital solutions through Kantori Optimization services, Drilling Analytics (including Corva) and autonomous directional drilling applications.
• Monitor well-sites using innovative equipment to track operational performance.

Technology Integration & Field Testing

• Support software field testing and integration of new technologies.
• Serve as liaison between local and global teams for technology development and enhancement.

Knowledge Management & Compliance

• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and lessons learned across the organization.
• Participate in and promote knowledge management initiatives within Drilling Services.
• Ensure adherence to Baker Hughes' global standards, policies, and procedures across all supported areas.
• Comply with and promote the company's Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) Management System.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; petroleum engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of field experience with Baker Hughes in Drilling Services technologies.
• At least 5 years of experience in Directional Drilling or Drilling Engineering (preferred).
• Background in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• Broad technical knowledge of drilling product line operations and services.
• Analytical capability to resolve complex operational problems from data.
• Proficiency with digital solutions platforms and drilling analytics tools.
• Ability to liaise effectively between local and global technical teams.
