Role Purpose

To install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells, maximizing well productivity and ESP run life while leading field service activities and ensuring positive customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Operations

• Perform installation and pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in onshore oil and water wells.
• Conduct ESP installations using Y-Tool.
• Execute POD system installation, well pre-commissioning activities, well commissioning, and start-up activities.

Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Work unsupervised monitoring, troubleshooting, and testing downhole ESP equipment to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• Apply analytical skills to route ESP problems during troubleshooting.

Team Leadership & Customer Management

• Lead the field service team with confidence ensuring positive customer outcomes.
• Perform well in a team environment.

Compliance & Special Projects

• Conduct business activities in accordance with HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
• Handle special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2–8 years of technical experience running Electrical Submersible Pump or Artificial Lift tools or equipment.
• Technical Diploma in Electrical Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, or higher qualification.
• Valid offshore experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Experience with ESP installations using Y-Tool.
• Analytical skills to route ESP problems during troubleshooting.
• Strong customer focus, communication, interpersonal, and team working skills.
