Field Service Representative/Technician ETM III-(Doha, Qatar)

Role Overview

Field Service Representative ETM III with Cherokee Federal, located in Doha, Qatar. This position requires an active Secret clearance.

Role Purpose

Perform maintenance, repairs, and equipment dispositions on Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems (NIIS) such as vehicle, personnel and baggage scanners, barriers, Skywatch Towers, Armored Gate Houses, and other assorted Force Protection equipment in the AFCENT Area of Responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair Operations

• Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all equipment in accordance with Technical Orders and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) commercial manuals.
• Perform inspections, equipment modifications, repairs, and identify maintenance problem areas.
• Execute maintenance and repair tasks requiring competency with electrical, hydraulics, glass replacement and repair, and air conditioning.
• Carry out routine servicing of equipment as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions that could interrupt or halt production activities.
• Troubleshoot equipment to determine specific malfunctioning issues and assess them accordingly.

Work Management

• Prioritize daily work orders according to level of importance.
• Perform updates in the management information system (MIS) recording assets and spare parts, warranties, and work order documentation focusing on a lifecycle approach.

Compliance & Safety

• Abide by safety regulations during manufacturing and work activities.
• Perform equipment checks to prevent mechanical hazards which could cause harm to operators and workers.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete daily or as required reports, OEM checklists and requirements documentation on preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Communicate with management about equipment faults, best management practices, and maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performance.

Additional Duties

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience working as a technician performing preventative, corrective and repair services on Force Protection equipment or similar or equivalent.
• Active Secret Clearance required; verifiable in JPAS.
• Must have an active US Passport.
• Willing to travel Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) and live and travel within the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
• Preferred Radiation Certification (RSO).
• Preferred NIIS experience and proficiency.
• Preferred Inventory and Warehousing experience and competency.

Additional Information

• Estimated Starting Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience.
