FIELD ENGINEER

Role Overview

Field Engineer position with NMDC Group. The role is based offshore with willingness to work onshore as required.

Role Purpose

Execute and support offshore construction and mobilisation activities, ensuring compliance with procedures, HSE standards, and project schedules while coordinating between crews, clients, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

Mobilisation & Planning

• Study and execute mobilisation plans.
• Conduct forward planning and prepare procedures.
• Ensure work permits, construction aids, equipment, materials and consumables are available.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure procedures are in place offshore and are followed.
• Monitor compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Crew & Stakeholder Management

• Allocate daily activities to works crews.
• Facilitate client and sub-contractor liaison.
• Assist Superintendents, Construction Engineers, Project Managers and other stakeholders as required.

Reporting & Documentation

• Deliver daily progress and field engineer reports.
• Complete documentation including as-builts and lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. Engineering.
• 2–5 years' experience in offshore work.

Skills & Competencies

• Good English communication skills.
• Strong communication skills and committed team player mentality.
• Willingness to learn complex tasks and procedures.
