FIELD ENGINEER

Role Overview

Field Engineer at NMDC Group. This role operates both onshore and offshore, delivering engineering support across mobilization, execution, and project completion phases.

Role Purpose

Execute field engineering operations to ensure project procedures are followed, resources are coordinated, and all work meets HSE standards and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Mobilization

• Study and execute mobilization plans.
• Conduct forward planning and procedure preparation.

Offshore Operations

• Ensure procedures are in place offshore and are followed.
• Ensure availability of work permits, construction aids, equipment, materials, and consumables.

Crew & Resource Management

• Allocate daily activities to work crews.
• Facilitate client and sub-contractor liaison.

Reporting & Documentation

• Deliver daily progress and field engineer reports.
• Complete documentation, as-builts, and lessons learned records.

Stakeholder Support

• Assist Superintendents, Construction Engineers, Project Managers, and other senior personnel as required.

Compliance

• Maintain compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in offshore work.

• Willingness to learn complex tasks and procedures.
