Role Overview
Food & Beverage Runner at Viya (wasl Hospitality & Leisure), Topgolf Dubai location. Reports to the Hospitality Manager or Assistant Hospitality Manager.

Role Purpose
Food Runners support best-in-class service and hospitality for guests by delivering hot, freshly prepared food with outstanding energy and urgency, making guests feel welcome, engaging with them, and helping make their visits to Topgolf memorable.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service & Engagement
- Greet every guest immediately in a friendly and approachable manner.
- Engage with guests and ensure they are well cared for at all times.
- Assist Bay Hosts in caring for guests in whatever way is needed.
- Ensure guest safety while they play the game.
- Project positivity and have fun.
Food Delivery & Quality
- Deliver food items quickly so they remain hot, fresh, and appetizing.
- Ensure bays are clean and ready for guests.
- Adhere to service standards in timeliness, quality, accuracy, and sanitation.
Venue Management & Safety
- Keep common areas clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Maintain a smart and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company dress standards including name badge and high standards of personal hygiene.
- Protect guests and community by observing the rules of responsible alcohol service.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents or injury in the venue.
Standards & Culture
- Be aware of and demonstrate Topgolf Mission, Vision, and Core Values.
- Apply the 4 Service Targets throughout serving internal and external customers.
- Attend daily pre-shift and department meetings.
Ancillary Duties
- Participate in various extra activities contributing towards individual and organizational growth in line with the club's continuous improvement efforts.
- Represent the department or group in various committees, such as the Staff Committee, Green Theme (environmental), Food Committee, or Sport Committee.
- Participate in organizational projects.
- Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aider as requested.
IT Security & Compliance
- Read, understand, and comply with all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures of wasl DG.
- Cooperate, coordinate, and share information with Internal and External Audit teams as appropriate and applicable.
- Attend Information Security Awareness sessions conducted by the wasl IT Department.
- Immediately report all Information Security breaches, events, weaknesses, and incidents (actual or suspected breaches) to the IT Service Desk.
