Facility Management Engineer – Architecture

Role Overview

Facility Management Engineer – Architecture at Burjline Builders. This is a facility management role focused on architectural and building fabric oversight.

Role Purpose

Oversee architectural and building fabric maintenance activities to ensure facilities remain safe, functional, compliant, and maintained to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections & Defect Management

• Conduct inspections and identify defects and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare technical reports and recommend corrective solutions.

Maintenance Coordination

• Monitor architectural, civil, and building fabric maintenance works.
• Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities.
• Support SLA/KPI achievement and overall FM service delivery.

Supervision & Compliance

• Supervise technicians and specialist contractors.
• Ensure works comply with Qatar codes, specifications, HSE, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Facility Management and/or Project Management within the GCC.
• UPDA/MMUP Grade B or C – mandatory.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong professional knowledge of architectural and civil works.
• Good knowledge of Qatar standards and building codes.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
