Role Overview

Expert Frontend Engineer at TAWANTECH. This is a senior technical leadership role focused on designing and delivering scalable frontend solutions across web and mobile platforms.

Role Purpose

To serve as a senior technical authority in frontend engineering, designing complex and scalable frontend solutions and driving engineering standards, performance, quality, and technical excellence across digital applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design complex, scalable frontend architectures using React (web) and React Native (mobile).
• Define frontend engineering standards, patterns, reusable components, and shared design systems.
• Own cross-platform code sharing strategy and maximize reuse between web and mobile.
• Evaluate frontend technologies, frameworks, and engineering approaches.

Technical Leadership & Governance

• Act as senior technical authority for frontend engineering across both web and mobile platforms.
• Lead technical implementation of complex features and modernization initiatives.
• Review complex code and technical designs to ensure quality and architectural alignment.
• Mentor frontend engineers and raise the technical bar across the chapter.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide engineering and architecture initiatives for frontend technologies.

Performance & Quality

• Drive improvements in performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability across platforms.
• Apply client-side security requirements for authentication, session handling, and sensitive data.
• Resolve critical and device-specific production issues.

Operations & Integration

• Own mobile release engineering, including native build configuration and App Store / Google Play processes.
• Ensure effective integration between frontend applications, APIs, and backend services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of frontend engineering experience, including senior or lead technical ownership.
• Proven delivery of production mobile apps, including native tooling (Xcode, Android Studio) and store releases.
• Payments, banking, or regulated financial services experience.
• Professional Certificates.
