Role Overview

Engineer, Reliability (CCRI - Reliability Team - Habshan 5) at ADNOC.

Role Purpose

Provide technical expertise and knowledge-based assistance to technical and operational divisions on all matters related to reliability engineering, assessment, and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Reliability Analysis & Assessment

• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Asset Performance Management (APM), and Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM) studies.
• Convert maintenance operations from reactive repairs to proactive preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.
• Focus on identification of equipment issues before failure via predictive tools and reliability methods.
• Assist operational sites to develop appropriate monitoring techniques to reflect equipment real conditions.

Maintenance Strategy & Optimization

• Identify and apply appropriate maintenance strategies to minimize the impact of failures on business performance.
• Lead and participate in Brown Field/Green Field (BF/GF) Engineering activities to improve reliability and optimize maintenance costs.
• Maintain bad factor listing and reporting.
• Recommend necessary modifications or replacement of equipment to overcome technical problems.

Equipment & Project Support

• Research and provide technical advice for upgrading and refurbishment of mechanical equipment during major overhauls or new installations.
• Review packages for new projects and recommend on equipment selection and redundancy.
• Participate in equipment review and proposed new solutions alerts on obsolescence of equipment.

Technical Leadership

• Lead specific schemes and works allocated to Reliability Engineering across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience.
