Role Purpose

Create detailed mechanical system designs and schematics for various projects. Analyze project requirements, develop and test mechanical systems, ensure compliance with industry standards, and collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver efficient and reliable designs. Provide innovative solutions that meet technical specifications and project objectives while optimizing performance and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Development

• Create detailed mechanical system designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Conduct load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.

Documentation and Compliance

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure that all designs comply with national and local mechanical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems with other building systems and project requirements.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.

Project Management

• Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.

Problem-Solving and Innovation

• Identify and resolve design issues, perform system testing, and provide solutions to technical problems that occur during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve design processes and solutions.

Performance and Delivery

• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Quality and Process Improvement

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures and seek automation opportunities.

Compliance and Safety

• Comply with related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined areas of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products and services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 0–2 years work experience (Fresher level)
