Role Purpose

To manage and supervise all material-related activities on infrastructure projects, ensuring strict compliance with specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements from procurement through construction completion.

Key Responsibilities

Material Supervision & Coordination

• Monitor and supervise material-related activities on site.
• Coordinate with contractors, laboratories, suppliers, and supervision teams.

Submittals & Documentation Review

• Review and approve material submittals, technical data sheets, samples, and certificates for compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive records of material approvals, testing results, inspections, and non-conformances.

Inspection & Verification

• Inspect delivered materials and verify conformance with approved submittals and project specifications.
• Review laboratory and field test results to ensure materials meet all project requirements and standards.

Quality Assurance & Corrective Action

• Identify unsuitable or non-compliant materials and implement corrective actions with appropriate follow-up.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Materials Engineer on infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of material testing, inspection protocols, and quality assurance standards.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to review technical documentation and verify compliance with specifications.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in maintaining detailed records and documentation.
