Engineer, Integrity

Role Overview

Engineer, Integrity at ADNOC in the United Arab Emirates. The role coordinates and maintains all integrity-related procedures, manages the Integrity Management System and Plan across facilities, monitors compliance with KPIs, and provides technical integrity input in support of the company's Asset Integrity Policy and Framework.

Role Purpose

Coordinate and update all integrity-related procedures, oversee the issuance and monitoring of the Integrity Management Plan through the dedicated Integrity Management System, ensure compliance with KPIs, and assist in the implementation of company Asset Integrity Policy and Framework as it relates to maintenance and inspection of facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Integrity Management System & Procedures

• Coordinate implementation and maintenance of the Integrity Management System database and applications.
• Participate in development and maintain systems and procedures for IMS implementation, reporting and auditing.
• Establish consistent integrity reporting formats and interface with other disciplines to resolve data interpretation challenges.
• Ensure regular updates of required procedures for implementing the IMS solution.
• Coordinate the issuance of quarterly Integrity reports for Management and Shareholders.
• Coordinate the gathering of data for the Division's weekly integrity report.

Integrity Management Planning

• Coordinate issuance and regular review and update of the written Integrity Management Plan for all facilities through the Integrity Management System software solution.
• Coordinate implementation of the Integrity Management Plan and evaluate effectiveness through verifications and audits.
• Identify additional preventative and mitigative measures and determine IMP re-assessment intervals and methods for all assets.

Data & Coordination

• Coordinate between Integrity unit and Maintenance, Inspection and Operations for data gathering and data quality checks before updating to the database.
• Solicit and synthesize feedback on improvements from other disciplines as applicable.

Technical Integrity & Compliance

• Ensure Integrity requirements for all new plants, equipment and structures to be installed in assigned fields meet required specifications prior to dispatch to site.
• Inspect, initiate and prepare technical reports on all kinds of plants and equipment to be installed in assigned fields.
• Monitor proactively technical integrity of plant equipment through systematic follow-up.
• Highlight to Operating Authority inspection overdue items, critical outstanding recommendations and plant failures.
• Participate in HAZOP studies involving new electrical equipment and comment on feasibility of proper integrity assurance of the asset through proper access to inspection areas.

Risk Assessment & Issue Resolution

• Coordinate risk assessments and threat analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments to update IMS technical reference manuals.
• Identify integrity-related issues and coordinate their resolution internally or externally.
• Follow up implementation of approved recommendations through site visits to ensure activities at various stages are carried out according to approved recommendations.

Incident & Audit Management

• Participate in Root Cause Analysis of incidents.
• Participate in or facilitate Audits as per the Framework.
• Track audit action items and ensure that audit recommendations have been completed and closed out in coordination with concerned Departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering Discipline.
• 6 years of experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Professional Certifications as applicable.
