Role Overview
Engineer II, Reliability at AMICTOHO TITANIUM METAL Company, based in Yanbu, KSA. This position reports directly to the Superintendent, Reliability & Engineering.

AMICTOHO TITANIUM METAL Company operates within Advanced Metal Industries and Toho Titanium (ATTM), a private company in the materials sector focusing on specialty chemicals.
Role Purpose
To ensure the reliability and availability of major instrument equipment and critical instrument systems by reviewing design, updating maintenance strategies, monitoring equipment data, analyzing performance, and improving repair techniques. Lead and facilitate RIS analysis on selected systems, implement RIS recommendations, achieve AMIC-TOHO Reliability KPIs, and evaluate new technologies to continuously improve plant asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Engineering Strategy
- Review the design of major instrument equipment and critical instrument systems.
- Update all maintenance strategies to ensure reliability and availability.
- Develop engineering supporting documentation and plans as directed by senior level engineers.
- Perform tasks defined in scope and complexity applying engineering knowledge to relevant codes, regulations and standards.
Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor data of major critical equipment and systems.
- Analyze all data to identify changes that can improve engineering functions.
- Monitor and report daily assignments to senior level engineers.
- Routinely update records within established procedures.
RIS Program & Continuous Improvement
- Lead and facilitate RIS analysis on the company's selected systems.
- Act as focal point for all RIS activity.
- Ensure implementation and effectiveness of RIS recommendations.
- Update all analysis to achieve AMIC-TOHO Reliability KPIs.
- Implement reliability best practices.
- Evaluate new technology and new ideas to continuously improve reliability of plant assets.
Quality & Problem Resolution
- Improve repairing techniques while ensuring the quality of maintenance efforts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve unit problems in area of responsibility with guidance as needed.
- Participate in technical issues with stakeholders addressing multifaceted problems and escalate with proposed resolution.
Inspection & Compliance
- Review basic inspection work ensuring the relevant engineering requirements are adhered to with the required assistance.
- Maintain high HSE standards and seek to ensure a healthy, safe work environment and safe working practices.
Documentation & Communication
- Document and communicate assigned activities with timely identification and tracking.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Instrument Engineering, Control System Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience.
