Role Overview

Engineer, Field at ADNOC, based in the UAE, responsible for planning and coordinating pressure pumping activities, managing daily operations of PP Services, and overseeing budget and expenditure for pressure pumping functions.

Role Purpose

Plan and coordinate pressure pumping activities by reviewing drilling operational and engineering processes, directing daily PP Services operations, and managing pressure pumping budgets while controlling expenditure and justifying variances.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate the planning and execution of the company's daily operations of PP Services.
• Provide advice and direction to external customers and third-party wellsite colleagues as appropriate.
• Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.
• Record all events on location into a log.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and the rig up and rig down processes.

Technical Monitoring & Analysis

• Provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the wellsite where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tools and services.
• Operate the engineering station computer to provide real-time pressure and fracturing fluid monitoring, record data, produce reports and charts, and set-up job.
• Conduct quality assurance for chemical calibration test for chemical additives.
• Complete post-hydraulic fracturing reports.

Inventory & Quality Management

• Assist in tracking sand and chemicals to ensure proper delivery to the customer.
• Keep track of sand and chemical inventories and oversee the quality assurance and quality control of fluids, chemicals, and sand.

Financial & Administrative

• Coordinate the preparation of the pressure pumping budget, control expenditure and justify variances.
• Produce an invoice after every stage to invoice to the customer.

Planning & Compliance

• Assist in the preparation of plans, calculations, reporting, and related documentation.
• Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline, or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years' field experience in pressure pumping.

Skills & Competencies

• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good computer knowledge.
