Role Overview
Endodontics Registrar position with Nahdi Care Clinics. Service as a Registrar in the Endodontics department, diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses.
Role Purpose
Examine patients, take medical histories, prescribe medications, and order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests. Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare as related to their individual cases.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Assessment & Care Planning
- Assess patients and document findings.
- Design and execute the patient's plan of care.
- Order and review results of patients' investigations.
- Prescribe medications for patients.
Patient Education & Counseling
- Educate patients on their health condition, investigations required, treatment options and medication use.
- Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
- Counsel patients on diet, hygiene, and preventive healthcare whenever related to their individual cases.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
- Fulfill obligations related to Patient Records.
- Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics Policies and Procedures, Bylaws, Strategic Plan, Rules and Regulations.
- Adhere to the mission, vision, goals and practice guidelines in Nahdi Care Clinics.
- Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
- Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
- Complete fire safety requirements.
- Perform tasks based on specialty and clinical privileges according to Saudi health council guidelines.
Quality & Professional Development
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and program evaluation activities.
- Observe measures to ensure clinical, MOH and CBAHI quality standards and regulations are met.
- Integrate population factors of heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
- Develop, participate in and support an active Continuing Medical Education program for the assigned section, department or clinic, which may include rounds, conferences, lectures, journal clubs and other educational activities.
- Participate in continuous professional development of all junior staff.
- Demonstrate evidence-based practice orientation.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with other departments of Nahdi Care Clinics, local agencies, vendors, patients, their families and other interested parties.
- Actively participate in all Nahdi Care Clinics Committees and Task Forces to which assigned.
Additional Duties
- Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management based on business need.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from recognized universities.
- Master's degree in related specialty from recognized universities, or Fellowship with SCFHS approval.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience following Master's degree, or eligible to sit the board examination in the specialty.
- Licensed as Registrar in related specialty from Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
Skills & Competencies
- Office and Health Information Systems proficiency.
- English and Arabic: fluent speaking and writing.
Additional Information
- Work Environment: 100% indoors.
- Working Days: 6 working days per week with 1 day off.
- Working Hours: 8 net working hours according to shift schedule approved by head of department.
