The Emirati Engineering Program is a unique initiative designed to fast-track skills, knowledge, and experience, preparing participants to become future leaders at Johnson Controls in the United Arab Emirates and across the Middle East and Africa.

Role Purpose

The Engineering Program comprises six assignments over two years, focusing on key technical areas including Installation and Service Operations and Technical Sales (Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, and Front Line Sales). The role prepares you to become a future leader at Johnson Controls.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Service Operations

• Grasp engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Set up and calibrate systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine checks and repairs on maintained equipment.
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to customers.
• Engage with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams.

Technical Sales

• Understand the specifications and benefits of company offerings.
• Build and nurture client relationships.
• Simplify complex concepts for non-technical customers through clear communication and presentations.
• Close sales deals with confidence through negotiation.
• Identify client needs and industry trends through market analysis.
• Craft tailored solutions for clients.
• Understand pricing models and competitor analysis as part of sales strategy.
• Work seamlessly with marketing, engineering, and customer support teams.

Business Development

• Participate in customer-facing experiences and meet clients across the region.
• Access a diverse network of talented professionals and business leaders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Sustainability Engineering, or related fields.
• Must be a UAE national with a family book.
• Previous internship experience in related fields is a plus.
