Role Purpose

To ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of all electronic systems, audiovisual equipment, and public address systems throughout the hotel by installing, diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on technical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, AV/VA systems, control systems, and related devices.
• Replace or repair defective electronic components, circuit boards, sensors, relays, and wiring.
• Perform preventive maintenance on electronic, AV/VA equipment, and PAVA equipment.

Technical Diagnosis and Testing

• Read and interpret electronic drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Diagnose electronic faults and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Inspect and test electronic systems, PAVA equipment, AV/VA systems, sensors, controllers, and related components.

Qualifications & Experience

• 1 or 2 years of experience in the same role with a luxury 5-star property.
• Secondary education required.
• Vocational certification and trade qualification in Electronics preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical skills in electronics, PAVA equipment, and AV/VA systems.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Knowledge of safety and building systems.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to adapt to diverse environments.
