Electrical Technician

Role Overview

Electrical Technician at Burjline Builders. The role covers installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across commercial, residential, and industrial properties, with specialized responsibility for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

Role Purpose

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations and electrical safety standards. Deliver safe, efficient electrical infrastructure across multiple property types and lead EV charging station deployment projects.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Commissioning

• Install electrical systems, equipment, and components across commercial, residential, and industrial properties.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, circuit breakers, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and power outlets.
• Install, commission, test, and maintain Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare electrical infrastructure for EV charger installations.
• Install electrical cabling, protective devices, isolators, and distribution systems required for EV chargers.

Maintenance & Preventive Care

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical assets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of EV charging stations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Troubleshooting & Repair

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot EV charging equipment and resolve electrical faults.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.

Inspections & Safety Compliance

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Prepare installation reports, commissioning documents, and maintenance records.
• Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients during installation projects.
• Support facility improvement projects and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid EWA Electrical Technician License (Mandatory).
• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Previous experience in commercial buildings or facilities management is preferred.
• Experience in EV charger installation is an added advantage.
