Role Overview

Electrical Technician—EWA Electrical Technician License at Burjline Builders. The role involves installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across commercial, residential, and industrial properties, with a focus on Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station infrastructure.

Role Purpose

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with EWA regulations and electrical safety standards. Support the deployment and ongoing maintenance of EV charging stations across multiple property types.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Install and maintain electrical wiring, distribution boards, circuit breakers, lighting systems, sockets, switches, and power outlets.
• Install electrical cabling, protective devices, isolators, and distribution systems required for EV chargers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical assets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic inspections of EV charging stations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Electrical Systems and Diagnostics

• Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot EV charging equipment and resolve electrical faults.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

• Install, commission, test, and maintain Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare electrical infrastructure for EV charger installations.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with Bahrain EWA regulations and electrical safety standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare installation reports, commissioning documents, and maintenance records.
• Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation.

Coordination and Support

• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients during installation projects.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Support facility improvement projects and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid EWA Electrical Technician License (Mandatory).
• Diploma, ITI, or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
• Previous experience in commercial buildings or facilities management is preferred.
• Experience in EV charger installation is an added advantage.
