Role Purpose

The Commis I assists the Chefs in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helps maintain a high standard and quality of food preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Prepare food items in accordance with standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs, and given instructions.
• Apply sound knowledge of cuisines and food service sanitation to perform duties efficiently and productively.

Standards & Compliance

• Maintain complete knowledge and adherence to Four Seasons Food Standards.
• Assist the Chef de Partie, Demi Chef de Partie, or Commis I in developing standard recipes and ensure strict compliance with them.

Kitchen Operations

• Participate in product development and support the smooth, efficient operation of the kitchen.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Executive Chef.

Professional Conduct

• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and a positive attitude at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.

Skills & Competencies

• High level of understanding and knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to assigned tasks.
