Dry Utilities Engineer - Design

Role Overview

AtkinsRealis Infrastructure Business seeks a Dry Utilities Engineer – Design to join the Dubai office and support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC. The role encompasses planning, designing, and engineering of dry utilities networks including power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, telecommunication, ICT, and security systems.

Role Purpose

To provide technical support and engineering expertise on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, driving delivery from tender through completion while maintaining compliance with Health & Safety standards and contributing to a high-performing team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Technical Support

• Deliver technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Support designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.

Reporting & Compliance

• Report on project performance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations.
• Ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.

Team Development & Stakeholder Management

• Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team.
• Create opportunities for the development of individuals.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a similar role or on similar projects.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to assemble and analyse data related to Information and Telecommunication.
• Experience and familiarity with AutoCAD, Dialux Software, and Revit/BIM experience (preferred).
