Driver - Light Vehicle

Role Overview

Driver - Light Vehicle at Apparel Group. The position is responsible to drive the vehicle with complete safety and diligence and provide excellent customer service.

Role Purpose

Deliver goods and products safely and on time while maintaining vehicle condition and adhering to all company and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Deliver goods and products on time without any delay.
• Collect shipments from Cargo Village and Delivery Orders from Freight Forwarding Companies.
• Ensure the Pick Note Gate Pass is acknowledged by the stores at the time of delivery.

Vehicle & Route Management

• Maintain the vehicle in good condition with minimum accidents.
• Maintain log book on daily basis.
• Be aware of all routes in UAE.
• Report to the transportation in-charge in case of any vehicle break-down.

Compliance & Coordination

• Adhere to company guidelines sincerely.
• Coordinate with respective people with the right attitude.
• Maintain knowledge of RTA rules and regulations.

• Knowledge of RTA (Road and Transport Authority) rules and regulations required.
