Role Overview

Driver - Heavy & Light Vehicle License, Ejqa, UAE.

Role Purpose

Operate heavy and light vehicles safely and professionally, executing assigned driving duties with priority and urgency while maintaining compliance with road safety standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Carry out all driving jobs with priority and urgency.
• Follow the road safety standards of the country during duty.
• Follow company safety procedures during duty.
• Execute any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management.

Compliance & Safety

• Follow specified systems, processes and procedures implemented in the workplace to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements and standards.
• Work safely at all times, protecting the health and safety of everyone in the workplace.
• Follow agreed safe systems of work.
• Follow training and instructions.
• Report accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Stop work if you think the work is unsafe.

Communication

• Receive necessary job-related information from Foreman and Admin staff.
• Communicate effectively in English with outside people during the job if necessary.
• Communicate effectively in Arabic with locals if necessary.

Qualifications & Experience

• Primary school education.
• Heavy driving licence.
• 2 years of professional experience in driving heavy vehicles and buses.

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of English language.
