Driver - Delivery

Role Overview

Driver - Delivery at Alghanim Industries. The role is based in Kuwait and focuses on delivering products promptly to customers in a professional and cost-effective manner while increasing customer satisfaction.

Role Purpose

To deliver company products to designated destinations safely, on schedule, and within cost parameters, while maintaining high standards of customer service and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
• Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines.
• Analyse delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
• Manage the drive to meet delivery time targets and deliver quality products.

Customer Service

• Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints.
• Collect payments from customers at the time of product delivery.

Safety & Reporting

• Report any accidents or injuries to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork.
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform vehicle inspection such as checking tire pressure.
• Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain the vehicle clean and safe.
• Keep uniforms, shoes and motorbike in clean and hygienic condition.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven working experience as a delivery driver.
• Valid Kuwait Light Driving License.
• Good knowledge of local roads and delivery routes.
• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry products as required.
