Role Overview

Driver – COD Supply Chain, DC Operations at Home Box Supply Chain, Land Mark, Dubai, UAE. This is a warehouse-based delivery driver position supporting the supply chain and distribution center operations.

Role Purpose

To operate and drive trucks safely to perform customer and store delivery duties, maintain vehicle documentation and service records, manage loading and unloading operations, collect returns with proper documentation, and provide feedback to supervisors on delivery performance and vehicle maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Delivery

• Operate and drive trucks to perform customer delivery and store delivery duties.
• Assist carpenters and helpers on loading and unloading of goods.
• Collect returns from shops and customers with proper documentation.
• Check and take the documents required for delivery.
• Ensure and improve knowledge of routes and areas.

Safety & Compliance

• Drive following all safety and traffic regulations.
• Ensure proper documents of vehicle.
• Be aware of dates of service, renewal of registration, and insurance.

Vehicle Maintenance & Records

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of the trucks.
• Maintain the Service Log book and Delivery log book for the vehicles.
• Maintain fuel usage records and KM reading logs.
• Ensure tidiness of vehicle both inside and outside.

Communication & Feedback

• Provide feedback to supervisors about the deliveries and let them know if anything needs to be rectified in case of particular deliveries.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least 1–3 years of work experience in a similar driver role.
• Driver's license required.
