Role Purpose
Ensure compliance with job cycle management processes and deliver application engineering expertise that meets client well construction and production objectives, maximizes revenue potential, and secures future job assignments.
Key Responsibilities
Job Planning & Design
- Ensure compliance with the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process.
- Work with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator and Salesperson to understand client well construction or production objectives.
- Design well profiles and perform applications engineering tasks including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans that meet client objectives and maximize revenue potential.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Work seamlessly with Service Delivery Coordinators and resources across organizational boundaries.
- Ensure all aspects and constraints of applications are understood and have been considered.
Field Operations & Incident Management
- Work on Field Incidents related to products and services.
- Participate in Incident Investigations when required, ensuring the end-to-end process.
- Provide sales support and product application recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in oil and gas.
- Minimum 3 years of application engineering experience within well construction.
- Previous experience with Baker Hughes as an application engineer in Well Construction.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to manage, develop, coach, and mentor teams across organizational boundaries.
- Thorough understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements.
- Ability to be on call outside of normal business hours.
