Job description

Role Overview

Warehouse Supervisor at Group AMANA. This role manages warehouse and store operations, inventory control, and asset management across civil and MEP construction projects.

Role Purpose

To oversee all warehouse and storage operations, ensure accurate inventory management, maintain company assets, coordinate supplier relationships, and train warehouse staff while supporting multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Inventory Management

  • Receive all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
  • Check all incoming materials for possible damages, scratches or discrepancies and keep management adequately informed.
  • Keep an updated inventory and stock records documenting the number and kinds of supplies and equipment in store.
  • Initiate materials requests in coordination with project team and in parallel with stock balance.
  • Receive, store, tag and track scrap items received from sites.

Storage & Asset Safeguarding

  • Ensure proper storage and release of supplies as requested with proper documentation of all incoming and outgoing transactions.
  • Take necessary measures to ensure materials are stored in a manner preventing damage or wastage.
  • Maintain the store and warehouse records area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Safeguard company assets from damage and misuse and report any misuses.
  • Maintain Asset Register at project level.
  • Ensure timely arrangements of required equipment along with the documents.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and AMANA for any breakdown or replacement of equipment and assets without affecting project work in progress.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Ensure timely closing and submission of supplier delivery notes within 48 hours.
  • Ensure timely submission of monthly MCR reports.
  • Daily close-out of equipment time sheets for non-operated equipment.
  • Ensure timely closing of AMANA internal invoices.

Project Closeout

  • Conduct proper close-out at the end of the project including document handover and return of all equipment, scaffolding and leftover materials.
  • Produce proper close-out report for all external rented scaffolding at project.
  • Coordinate with Mobilization team to ensure timely closing of MOB and DEMOB at project.

Supplier & Equipment Management

  • Answer questions regarding procedures and resolve discrepancies regarding receipts, deliveries, warranties and repairs.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers.
  • Follow up of project housekeeping along with the operation team.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Identify potential Store assistants, train and develop them.
  • Train and develop new storekeepers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Demonstrated good knowledge in the use of computer software applications and database management.
  • Proficiency in administrative procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of scaffolding and their usage.
  • Demonstrated good knowledge in Civil and MEP construction materials.
  • Multiskilled ability to handle both MEP and CIVIL projects and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Additional Information

  • Role requires ability to handle multiple concurrent projects as a multiskilled storekeeper covering both MEP and CIVIL construction sectors.
