Director - Finance & Procurement

Role Overview

Director - Finance & Procurement at Qiddiya Investment Company. This leadership role is critical in ensuring effective financial management, procurement operations, and the implementation of best practices to support Qiddiya's ambitious projects and initiatives.

Role Purpose

Lead and oversee finance and procurement functions across the organization. Develop financial and procurement strategies, manage budgets, optimize resource utilization, and drive compliance with organizational policies and regulations to support organizational objectives and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the finance and procurement departments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and operational requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for finance and procurement teams.

Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and supplier performance.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate governance, and regulatory standards in finance and procurement activities.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and financial partners.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support project delivery and organizational objectives.

Reporting & Monitoring

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of combined experience in finance and procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in developing and executing finance and procurement strategies within large-scale projects or organizations.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, procurement best practices, and contract management.
• Proficiency with financial and procurement software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational excellence.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
