Role Purpose

Support a range of diagnostic imaging and screening services by performing high-quality imaging procedures across multiple modalities, collaborating with physicians and clinical teams, and contributing to continuous improvement and future service expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Imaging & Diagnostic Support

• Perform high-quality imaging procedures in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes clearly, and ensure patient comfort and dignity at all times.
• Accurately document findings, measurements, and technical details in the EMR system.
• Ensure imaging equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operated safely.

Obstructive Sleep Apnea Screening

• Support obstructive sleep apnea screening workflows as part of metabolic and cardiometabolic assessments.
• Assist clinicians with device setup, patient instruction, and data handling.

Ultrasound Imaging

• Perform abdominal ultrasound, thyroid ultrasound, liver elastography, vascular Dopplers, and testicular ultrasound.
• Perform other relevant ultrasound studies as required.
• Learn and support multiple ultrasound modalities as part of the integrated care model.

DEXA Scanning

• Perform DEXA scans for body composition and bone density analysis.
• Ensure correct patient positioning, protocol selection, and data accuracy.

Muscle Ultrasound

• Participate in training and implementation of muscle ultrasound services once launched.
• Support protocol development and clinical integration.

Collaboration & Quality

• Work closely with physicians and clinical teams to support diagnostic decision-making.
• Adhere to infection control, radiation safety (where applicable), and clinic policies.
• Understand, follow, and support all hospital infection control programs.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing training.
• Contribute to the evolution of imaging services as the organization expands its diagnostic capabilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Radiology / Medical Imaging or equivalent.
• Valid professional license (DHA or eligibility to obtain DHA license) as a Radiology Technician.
• Experience in ultrasound and/or diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting.
• Experience with DEXA and/or liver elastography (preferred).
• Exposure to multidisciplinary or specialty clinics in endocrinology, metabolic health, cardiology, or related fields (preferred).
