DBH Commercial Manager

Role Overview

DBH Commercial Manager at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Retail, Head Office KSA.

Role Purpose

The DBH Commercial Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of commercial strategies to drive sales, profitability, and category growth. The role holder will manage supplier relationships, lead negotiations, optimize product assortment and pricing strategies, monitor category performance, and identify market opportunities to enhance the overall commercial performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Category Management

• Develop and execute the DBH category strategy to achieve sales, margin, and market share targets.
• Define assortment strategy, product selection, and category segmentation.
• Analyze category performance and implement action plans to drive growth and profitability.

Supplier & Commercial Relations

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and annual commercial agreements.
• Lead pricing, promotions, and trade marketing initiatives to maximize commercial performance.

Market & Performance Monitoring

• Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
• Prepare business reviews, forecasts, and commercial reports for management.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Store Operations to ensure product availability and successful execution.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Category Management, or Buying.
• Experience managing DBH, FMCG, or Household categories within retail.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and commercial acumen with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
