Role Overview
Crew Scheduling Administrator at McDermott. This role performs day-to-day crew scheduling activities and is capable of recognizing and solving typical General Services problems with limited supervisory approval.
Role Purpose
Establish and maintain crew scheduling operations by evaluating and selecting solutions from established options. Work directly impacts the team through the quality of services and information provided.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance
- Check the documents of offshore crew for validity.
- Ensure personnel files and training documentation of offshore crew are always maintained and current.
- Liaise with different local agencies for required documentation and local registration (visa, Federal Police, Sispat).
- Support with nota-fiscal from suppliers.
Medical & Personnel Management
- Contact the medical department when an employee scheduled to embark receives medical leave (Atestado Medico).
- Keep HR and Operations informed if employee(s) cannot embark due to medical or other reasons.
Crew Coordination & Scheduling
- Coordinate all personnel movements to and from offshore.
- Keep HR and Operations informed of any changes to crew change due to flights, weather, or other factors.
- Confirm to offshore personnel the official start of vacation.
Administrative & Reporting
- Attend training as indicated by supervisor.
- Fill out timesheet forms.
- Produce reports for delivery to the Crewing Logistics Coordinator.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school degree.
- 2 years of experience in administrative routines.
- Thorough understanding of HSE/Quality principles and applicability.
Skills & Competencies
- Basic to intermediate level in the English Language.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Team spirit qualities.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
