Consultant Pediatric ENT

Role Overview

Consultant Pediatric ENT at Astra ProMed, Dubai. Full-time position providing specialized diagnosis and management of ear, nose, and throat conditions in pediatric patients.

Role Purpose

Deliver specialized pediatric ENT clinical services, including consultations, diagnosis, treatment planning, and procedures. Lead a multidisciplinary approach to pediatric ear, nose, and throat care while mentoring junior medical staff and maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Diagnosis and Management

• Conduct pediatric ENT consultations, assessments, and follow-ups.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric ENT conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Perform appropriate pediatric ENT procedures within the scope of practice.
• Interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.

Collaboration and Team Leadership

• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff.

Documentation and Safety

• Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
• Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in ENT/Otolaryngology.
• Relevant fellowship or specialized training in Pediatric ENT.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Eligibility for Consultant Pediatric ENT classification under applicable UAE PQR requirements.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility, or willingness to complete the DHA licensing process.
