Role Overview

Consultant - Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman (SKMCA).

Role Purpose

Provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical care for women's health conditions across all age groups. Deliver safe maternal and fetal outcomes and contribute to clinical excellence within the organization through antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and gynaecological services.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Diagnosis

• Provide expert care in obstetrics and gynaecology, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and general gynaecological services.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of women's health conditions.
• Perform appropriate surgical procedures.
• Deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient care with individualized treatment plans.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and monitor patient progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive maternal and women's healthcare.
• Supervise and support junior medical staff.

Governance & Compliance

• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical standards.

Professional Development

• Participate in on-call duties, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Completion of recognized Obstetrics & Gynaecology residency and board certification.
• Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience as a Consultant Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Proven expertise in managing routine and high-risk pregnancies and performing gynaecological procedures.
• Licenses to practice (e.g., MOH, DHA, or relevant local authority).
