Role Overview

Consultant Cardiologist at Astra ProMed in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Full-time position providing comprehensive cardiology services and managing complex cardiovascular conditions within a leading healthcare facility.

Role Purpose

Deliver high-quality cardiology patient care through diagnosis and management of cardiovascular conditions, clinical assessment, and procedure performance, while contributing to clinical quality and safety initiatives and supporting junior medical staff development.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Diagnosis and Management

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment and management plans.
• Conduct consultations, clinical assessments, and follow-ups.

Investigations and Procedures

• Perform and interpret relevant cardiology investigations and procedures within the scope of practice.

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff.

Documentation and Quality

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in clinical quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
• Relevant post-specialization clinical experience.
• Valid eligibility for Consultant Cardiologist classification under applicable UAE PQR requirements.
• Valid DHA licence or eligibility, or willingness to complete the required DHA licensing process.
