Role Overview
Commissioning Superintendent Electrical at KBR, based in Abu Dhabi for a PMC project. This is an onshore site position supporting MEGA EPC projects.

Role Purpose
Oversee electrical commissioning activities and coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure commissioning of sales gas and condensate area systems proceeds within guiding procedures, contractual compliance, and readiness standards.
Key Responsibilities
Commissioning Oversight
- Coordinate with Licensors and Vendors to ensure close monitoring of commissioning activities are within Licensors and Vendors guiding procedures.
- Monitor the progress of commissioning activities in the sales gas and condensate area.
- Verify the readiness of systems and subsystems for MC and RFSU certificates issuance.
- Monitor and approve the close out of punch lists in the assigned area.
Procedures & Documentation
- Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures.
- Review commissioning manuals issued by EPC Contractor or Vendors.
- Verify mechanical completion certificates requirements for various systems and subsystems.
- Ensure completion and handover methodology is proceeding in compliance with related contractual documents.
Support & Coordination
- Provide required advice and support for the Sr. Commissioning Manager.
- Participate in commissioning meetings and other related meetings.
- Participate in troubleshooting analysis to resolve commissioning obstacles.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required.
- Minimum 18 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operation readiness positions.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
- Experience in the GCC region is preferred.
- Experience in commissioning sour gas, hydrogen production, or hydrodesulfurization projects is preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep technical domain expertise in electrical commissioning.
- Ability to coordinate with external stakeholders including licensors and vendors.
- Troubleshooting and problem-resolution capability.
- Knowledge of mechanical completion and RFSU certificate requirements.
- Understanding of contractual compliance and handover methodology.
