Role Overview

Commis III at Emirates Flight Catering. Entry-level kitchen position supporting food preparation and service operations.

Role Purpose

To assist with food preparation, storage, and service delivery while maintaining strict hygiene, safety, and quality standards in compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Food Handling & Storage

• Receive deliveries and ensure food items are stored, handled and consumed as briefed and guided by seniors.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, storage, chillers and freezers.

Food Preparation & Service

• Arrange and dish food items according to specified menus in compliance with established Hygiene and Safety Procedures.
• Work according to specifications and instructions received from supervisors.
• Familiarize with products, processes, menus, ingredients and equipment in the area of operation to contribute effectively.

Equipment & Facilities

• Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
• Report any faults or damage to supervisor.
• Maintain general hygienic and safe conditions of any areas where working.
• Report snags and issues to seniors.

Compliance & Development

• Comply with all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management policies, procedures and controls.
• Attend all scheduled training at his/her level.
• Contribute to cost-saving efforts and reduce wastages.
• Perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum High School certificate.
• 0 years of experience required.
