Role Purpose

To produce creative and excellent dishes as a member of the kitchen team while maintaining high standards of health and safety, exceeding guest expectations, and supporting the efficient operation of the kitchen through effective communication and multi-tasking.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Production

• Produce creative and excellent dishes to the highest standards.
• Perform basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic preparation, presentation and preservation of food.

Kitchen Operations & Teamwork

• Maintain high standards of health and safety, including personal hygiene.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen team.
• Gracefully receive constructive criticism and effectively carry out orders.
• Remain calm while multi-tasking and carrying out many different orders simultaneously in brief amounts of time.
• Create excellence in your own area of responsibility and support others as they do the same.

Guest Service

• Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and fully satisfied.
• Contribute to the enjoyment of guests through quality kitchen operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School degree.
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or Restaurant operations role.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety procedures.
