Role Purpose

Produce creative and excellent dishes while maintaining high standards of health and safety. Support the kitchen team in food preparation and organization to exceed guest expectations and ensure successful kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Execution

• Produce creative and excellent dishes that exceed guest expectations.
• Perform basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen.
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic preparation, presentation and preservation of food.
• Carry out multiple orders simultaneously within brief timeframes.

Health & Safety

• Maintain high standards of health and safety practices.
• Uphold personal hygiene standards.
• Apply basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.

Team Collaboration

• Communicate effectively with other members of the kitchen team.
• Receive constructive criticism gracefully.
• Execute orders effectively.
• Support other team members in creating excellence within their areas of responsibility.

Qualifications & Experience

• High School degree.
• Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or Restaurant operations role.

Skills & Competencies

• Passion for teamwork.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Knowledge of basic preparation, presentation and preservation of food.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.
• Ability to remain calm while multi-tasking.
• Ability to carry out many different orders simultaneously.
