Collection Agent

Role Overview

Collection Agent at Alghanim Industries. This role ensures effective collection follow-up on the Normal portfolio and timely collection of receivables.

Role Purpose

To execute daily collection activities, maintain contact with overdue customers, resolve payment issues, and support the team in recovering outstanding receivables through proactive follow-up and field engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Collections & Follow-Up

• Make daily telephone calls to overdue customers.
• Make field visits to deliver warning letters to customer home or workplace.
• Send faxes to customer workplace.
• Make follow-up notes on customer payment.
• Identify skipper cases and share details to Team Leader.
• Make daily updates to track which customers have been paid.
• Work and prepare all collection and follow-up activities for assigned customers.

Customer Communication & Support

• Respond to customer queries.
• Conduct daily communication with customers across all categories.
• Demonstrate good negotiation and communication skills with different customers.

Data & Administration

• Obtain new customer contact data through various search methods and provide to Team Leader for system update.
• Maintain confidentiality of customer database.

Team Collaboration

• Request Team Leader to send SMS as required from time to time.
• Highlight issues to Team Leader to resolve.
• Broadcast positive spirit among team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Two to three years of experience in Installment or Retail Collection Calls and follow-up.
• Prior experience in a lawyer office is an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Good team player.
• Familiar with Kuwait places to support warning letter delivery.
• Research and investigation skills with ability to locate individuals living in Kuwait.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with diverse customers.
