Role Overview
Coating Advisor at Jotun, based in Dubai. This position reports to the Technical Service Team Leader.

Role Purpose
Provide professional technical advice to customers through on-site support on paint application and inspections. Ensure coating specifications are met and work is completed according to contract and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory and Technical Support
- Advise customers, contractors and applicators on surface preparation and paint application.
- Support sales colleagues with technical expertise before, during and after project execution.
- Troubleshoot coating-related challenges and recommend practical solutions.
Inspections and Compliance
- Conduct coating inspections and advisory assessments.
- Monitor projects to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
- Prepare technical inspection reports and project documentation.
Stakeholder Management
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
Health, Safety and Environment
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with Jotun's HSE standards and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience within paints and coatings, corrosion protection, offshore, and infrastructure projects.
- NACE level II or FROSIO Level 3 certification.
- Marine projects and associated reporting experience is an advantage.
- Preferably with experience in PFP or Intumescent coatings.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Valid driving license (UAE preferable).
