Role Purpose

The Cleaning Technician performs custodial services across base and recreational facilities as specified in the Performance Work Statement, reporting to the Lead Cleaning Technician and functioning as a Facility Manager to maintain clean, sanitary, and professional environments.

Key Responsibilities

Custodial Operations

• Execute custodial services as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
• Perform restroom cleaning and supply replenishment, floor cleaning including baseboards, corners and wall/floor edges, and light fixture cleaning.
• Clean interior glass, mirrors, sinks, and counters.
• Execute laundry room cleaning, table and desk cleaning, watering potted plants, and dusting.
• Perform spot cleaning and outdoor patio cleaning.
• Collect and remove trash from all assigned areas.
• Clean refrigerators and microwaves.
• Sort linen, resupply clean linen, and restock linen closet as specified in the Performance Work Statement.

Facility Management

• Function as a Facility Manager to assigned location(s) as specified in the Performance Work Statement.
• Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, and professional atmosphere free of dust, clutter, and trash in all working facilities and areas.
• Provide on-call and over and above cleaning services as needed.

Standards & Compliance

• Communicate and uphold company standards, leading by example and working as a team.
• Perform work in a manner that presents a clean, neat, and professional appearance while maintaining satisfactory facility and equipment conditions.
• Monitor other country nationals in accordance with AFCENTI 32-1002 and obtain escort badge.
• Follow a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
• Maintain proper utilization and safeguarding of all government and contractor-provided property, including government facilities, equipment, and tools.
• Comply with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions.

Administration & Support

• Execute company time reporting procedures with precision and accurate completion of timesheet.
• Perform as supplemental personnel as needed for all Installation Service functional areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Credentials

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. Passport and Driver's License.
• Valid U.S. SECRET or Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to deployment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Ability to pass employment and deployment qualification requirements including psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, and background checks.
• Successful completion of online and hands-on CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear) defense training, including successful fit testing of DoD-provided protective gear.

Experience

• Minimum of one year of general cleaning experience.
• Familiarity with applicable fire prevention, ground safety, smoking, and security standards.
• Military experience in a contingency environment and knowledge and experience working with government contracts preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability and willingness to work periods of long hours to meet mission requirements.

Additional Information

• 100% overseas assignment.
• Work will be conducted inside and outside facilities.
• Exposure to cold, dust, noise, and chemicals may occur.
• Overtime and shift work may be required depending on contractual needs.
• Must be prepared to function in a wartime environment to support U.S. interests.
• Task-specific work environment training will be provided as required.
