Civil Inspector - Infrastructure

Role Overview

Civil Inspector - Infrastructure at AECOM, based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

Oversee a major roads and infrastructure project by inspecting and supervising construction works to ensure all activities comply with project specifications, contract requirements, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Contract & Documentation Management

• Review and maintain familiarity with project contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed records of contractor resources, including personnel and equipment allocation on a daily basis.

Site Inspection & Supervision

• Conduct site inspections and supervision activities as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
• Monitor contractor compliance with contractual standards and project specifications.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate daily with contractors to ensure proper resource management, adherence to health and safety standards, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Civil Inspector on infrastructure or roads projects.
• Thorough understanding of contract documents, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and site supervision best practices.
